  • PLM (ENOVIA) - Global Product Lifecycle Management

Packaging documentation supporting 3M Products can be accessed through the PLM ENOVIA system via the provided link. Packaging documentation is organized into two main categories: 1) PLM Pack Standards: Packaging Bills of Materials that support input packaging and related instructions to pack out 3M Products and 2) PLM Package Specifications: Specifications that define all requirements/expectations associated with a packaging material. Specifications are broken into three main document objects. These document objects include:

    • PLM Structure Specification: Document that supports all the structural requirements associated with a packaging material (e.g.: material, style, dimensional data).
    • PLM Material Specification: Document that supports all general requirements associated with a packaging material (e.g.: EHS, SAP material master data, Compliance and functional coatings).
    • PLM Artwork Specification: Document that supports all artwork requirements associated with a packaging material (e.g.: production art, color itemizations, print treatment coatings, proofing).
